Your home photos are vital in the process of assessing your property and giving you an accurate offer. This guide will provide you with clear instructions on how to upload your home photos to your Homebase account.
💡 Quick tip: Login to Homebase on your phone for the convenience of snapping pictures with your camera or uploading them straight from your photo gallery.
Guidelines for good photos
In every room we are looking at the walls, floors, ceiling, and windows.
Turn on the lights in every room to ensure your photos are clear and well lit.
If it takes multiple pictures to show the room, that's okay!
If there are any known issues in the house (leaky ceiling, holes in walls, etc) please include a picture of them. This is helpful to know from the beginning to ensure we give you the most accurate offer we can.
Steps to upload photos
1. Navigate to the Photo Upload tool
Once logged in, you can get to the photo upload tool by:
Clicking on "Photo Upload" in the menu
Clicking on the "Start" button next to your Upload Photos task
If you do not have this task, message us or let your Truehold contact know.
2. Prepare your photos
Take a look at the categories on the Photo Upload tool to determine what's important for our team to review. Review the guidelines above for how to take good quality photos!
3. Start the Upload Process
Click on the “Upload” button or icon.
If you are on your computer, this will open a window prompting you to choose files from your computer.
Select the photos you wish to upload from your device.
You can select multiple photos by either highlighting them or holding down the 'Ctrl' (Windows) or 'Command' (Mac) key while clicking on each file.
If you are on your phone, you will have the option to either take photos with your camera or upload photos from your photo library.
4. Review and Confirm Upload
After selecting the photos, they will appear in a preview.
Review the images to ensure they are the correct ones If you need to remove any photo, there is an "x" in the corner of each photo that will allow you to remove it.
Please also provide our team with any comments or description you'd like to provide in the Optional Notes section!
5. Save Your Photos
Once you have confirmed the selection, click the “Save” button.
Wait until the loading process is complete before refreshing or navigating away from the page.
6. Submit the Full Form
After you have completed all the necessary photo categories, the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page will be activated. Click the button to submit all the photos and nots you've provided.
You're now finished with uploading photos!

Ensure the photos are in .png or .jpg format
Check your internet connection, as a stable connection is necessary for uploads
Not getting a window or option to select photos after clicking "Upload"?
Make sure you allow pop-ups (check the upper right side of your browser for any messages).
Try restarting your computer or try a different browser/device.
